Sequels are very hard nowadays in Hip Hop. It could be because of timing or a lack of concept. This time around Akeem and I really wanted to switch things up. After a conversation I stated that we should stick with the same style we did for The illustration 1 but with a little dose of Hip-Hop. This was something different but for the 3 months that we recorded this, it was a reality.
